01 · The person
This began as a real life, not a software idea.
Joseph Korzen’s history includes cerebral palsy, extensive childhood surgery, adult structural and neurological care, sarcoidosis, disability, family, decades of public-school IT work, recording music, and later Functional Neurological Disorder.
02 · The problem
Each system saw a piece. No system held the whole.
Medical findings, FND, emergency care, behavioral health, disability access, records, legal and agency processes, and lived communication were repeatedly separated. When speech, typing, or movement became unreliable, the person carrying the context was also the person least able to re-explain it.
03 · The public proof
The conference became a live continuity test.
Abstract 178, the poster, and the one-page report were created to explain the five-year journey. During the FNDS conference, symptoms and communication changed in real time. The website became the backup layer that could still carry the intended meaning.
04 · The solution
Project Fionigan protects meaning across fragmented systems.
It organizes the human story, sources, expected targets, meaningful differences, accessibility guidance, and review paths. It does not replace clinicians, researchers, agencies, attorneys, or human judgment.

06 · What comes next
Healthcare comes first. Other applications show the framework can travel.
ToneLane applies the same structure to audio. Accessible mobility concepts apply it to chairs, trikes, and balance-assist bikes. Future applications can change the source material while preserving the governing process.
Project Fionigan does not ask a reader to believe everything at once. It makes the complete story reviewable without losing the person inside it.
